SW 25/6
In the Senior Women’s Squad there are 2 pathways to choose from so you can make the most out of your university rowing experience!
Purple Pathway –
This is the more competitive, high performance path, choose this one if you would like to compete at Henley Women’s/Henley Royal/WeHORR and in top crews at BUCS.
There are no erg time cut-offs for this but there is an expectation of commitment to training and completion of the training plan.
| AM | PM | |
| Monday | Erg | Weights |
| Tuesday | OFF | 7pm Water |
| Wednesday | Cross train | Erg |
| Thursday | Weights | 7pm Water |
| Friday | Erg | S&C/ Mobilisation |
| Saturday | 8am 2 x water | OFF |
| Sunday | OFF | OFF |
Blue Pathway –
This is the less competitive, more recreational pathway, you can do as much/as little training as you would like, and you will still be given the opportunity to go to all races but this may not be in the top 8.

Races
The senior squads compete across the country in lots of major races – a typical calendar in recent years has included a variety of:
- Fours Head
- Upper Thames Autumn Head
- Wallingford Head
- Quintin Head
- Hammersmith Head
- BUCS Head
- Head of the River & Women’s Head of the River
- BUCS Regatta
- Peterborough Regatta
- Metropolitan Regatta
- Reading Regatta
- Henley Royal Regatta & Henley Women’s Regatta
In the summer months, small boats are entered for smaller regattas by out alumni club, Bentham BC.
Camps
There are three week-long training camps every year for the senior squads – a great chance for more intensive training and some time away from London.
- Winter Camp, Early January – UL Boathouse, Chiswick
- Easter Camp, April – Rotating location within the UK
- Henley Camp, June – Immediately prior to HWR & HRR
