UCL Boat Club is affiliated to British Rowing and UCL Union (UCLU). It is based on the Tideway near Chiswick. Last year the boat club won the UCLU Club of the Year and Gold Star Awards.

UCL Boat Club caters for a range of rowers from the complete beginner (novice) to the more experienced rower (senior). There is just as much emphasis on the novices as there is on the seniors and the club prides itself on developing excellent “home grown” rowers. By the end of the year, many are competing in senior boats at some of the most prestigious rowing events such as the Henley Regattas. But the club is also open to non-competitive rowers with its new Casual squad.
