Lauren Johncock is in her fourth year of a Classics with Study Abroad degree at UCL. She started rowing at the age of 12 at Sir William Perkins’s School, however due to injury she started to cox at 13, and found she was much better suited to it (being 5’1)! Through her school career she won and medalled at various head races and regattas, including National Sculling Head. In her first year at UCL she qualified for Henley Women’s Regatta, and has continued to win Cambridge Head and placing competitively at Women’s Head of the River. She is looking forward to coxing UCLBC to a successful year in 2019/2020!
