Upcoming Events

Pre-season

TBC

If you have previous rowing experience and you would like to join us for our pre-season, please contact the senior captains from the committee page.

Welcome Fair

3rd October

Whilst the Welcome Fair might be online this year, please make sure to drop by our virtual stall and ask us any questions you might have about anything and everything rowing-related!

Give It a Go!

10th and 13th October

If you are not yet sure whether you’d like to join us for the season, this is your chance to try it out and see how you like it! Join us at our boathouse in Chiswick: there will be a BBQ, informational talks, a rowing machine introduction, and, finally, the chance to have a row out on the mighty Thames. Please bear with us whilst we confirm dates, coronavirus-permitting.

Boat Ball

13th November

Rowers look good in lycra but we look even better in black tie! Head along to our annual Boat Ball on the Thames and experience the water with a glass in your hand instead of an oar.

Cambridge Head

TBC

You’ve been training with your squads so this is your time to show other clubs what you’re made of. Cambridge Head is a slightly shorter race and a very relaxed vibe so it makes a perfect first race for novices and a good chance to brush the holiday cobwebs off for our senior squads. Whatever the outcomes for each squad expect to be headed to Mully’s for post-race drinks and karaoke!

Row-A-Thon

TBC

Help to raise money for the club and for a charity we will select at our annual 48 Hour Row-a-Thon. Sign up for your slots and take over the rowing machines in Covent Garden to tally up the miles!

Social Tour

Early December

At UCL Boat Club we work hard and party hard but never is that concept more true than on our annual social tour. (Dependent on the Covid-19 situation.)

Christmas Dinner

TBC

Feel festive and full at our annual Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings! Pull your cracker, tell the horrendous joke and don your paper crown ready to hit the dance floor. Celebrate all that you’ve accomplished in your first term and start looking forward to Term 2 and all the excitements it will bring.
